2nd day in
Taipei. (12 March of 2014)
Itinerary for the day:
ShiFen (十分)
ShiFen Waterfall (十分瀑布 )
JiuFen (九分)
7-11 is so near our hotel, super convenient.
Going to Shifen first!
As my nearest metro station (MRT) is Ximenting.
So I board the train at Ximenting to Taipei Main Station (Only one stop)
Stop at Taipei Main Station.
Saw the board "TRA / HSR". Go straight as the sign say so.
Then you will see the ticket counter. You can buy the ticket to Ruifang. (If I'm not wrong you've to tap out)
We didn't buy it because we've EasyCard. You can use that card.
After you bought your ticket, step backward and you will see this sign.

mean "Taiwan Railways Administration".
You heading to Ruifang by Railways.
Tap in.
Go to Platform 4. (Right side) There will be a escalator, go down.
Saw this? I don't know what the hell is that. I just board once I saw the train coming from the right side.
How many stops from Taipei Station to Ruiafang.
12 stops.
1. Songshan Station
2. Nangang Station
3. Xike Station
4. Xizhi Station
5. Wudu Station
6. Baifu
7. Qidu Station (stop for 10 min)
8. Badu Station
9. Sengkang Station
10. Naunnuan Station
11. Sijiaoting Station
12. Ruifang
12. Ruifang
Imagine I board the train about 9.16am, reach Ruifang about 10.37am.
This is crazy long! But I like it.
A sign of HOPE. LOL!
Look out for this sign.
You've to go to the Main Hall to buy the ticket to ShiFen.
So turn to the left. (Exit to Jiufen, Jinguashi)
This is the ticket counter.
We bought one day pass.
One day pass mean you can stop any station in Pingxi Line. Look behind the ticket, it will show you the station.
It cost NT $52 = SGD $2.14
But if you're just going to Shifen only, buy Shifen ticket only.
We bought the one day pass in the end we go Shifen only due to not much time. Wtf.
Oh yes, they told us our train will be coming at 11.16am.
So we've time, why not grab some food to eat. Haha

Ruifang Station.
For those who're lazy one or more than 4 people, you can buy those package.
I will recommend one of the attraction, Yeliu.
As
I went before on my previously trip, I feel it was not bad though you
just go and see the queen's head. For most of them will it's kinda waste
time.

Rushing to the train.
Please board the train from Platform 1.
4 stops to Shifen.
1. Houtong (Cat lover should go there!)
2. Sandiaoling (Nice scenery)
3. Dahua
4. Shifen
And we reach!!!!
Remember to take a snap at the timetable.
The timing is very important. If you missed the train, you've to wait for 1 hour.
It's a must to go to this shop. They sell lots of Old Antique things.
You can buy this stamp and mail it to Singapore.

FAIL.
How to go to Shifen Waterfall.
Follow the sign. It's everywhere.
Ready to walk for about 20 - 30 min.
Just walk straight.
I love to walk as you can see thing that you never see before.
This slope is torturing us.
We regretted didn't ride the scooter.
20 ft Container.
Saw this two path and the middle is the track. Go to the right side.
Never always forget to Jump!

Entrance fee to Shifen Waterfall is NT $80 = SGD $3.42
The cat is so brave. Haha

Back to Ruifang. Exit at the Main Hall.
Going to take bus to Jiufen.
Walk straight
You will passby police station.
We took 788 to JiuFen.
Like 15 min to reach there? I think.
MAKAN FIRST! Went back to the same place where I ate with my family.
Wanted to take the scenery but.....
Looking for other food!
Yes this one!
Getting dark.
foods, foods and more FOODS!
Take 1062 back to Fuxing Station. Quite a long journey more than 1 hour.
So better grab a seat.
Tap your Easycard and tell the driver you're going back to Taipei.
They will pass you this card but you've to give them back once you alight.
